GVRD 44 Cheeks are looking for 8 strong paddlers to bring to Vernon for the Festival July 28 + 29.  This is last minute recruiting.  Cut off is 14:00 (2 pm) today, Wednesday July 18.  If we don't have 8 by then we've decided to cancel our entry and not go.  So, if you are interested call Dave at 329-1847 before 2 pm today.

GVRD isn't going to Vernon... so Sammy Davis is coming to Vernon with Gung Haggis Fat Choy dragon boat, food and social club.

We have room for 2 more paddlers.

We had lots of fun in this race last year.  Our water skier popped up the fastest... but unfortunately couldn't hold on for the required distance.
We also did the 1000m race.
