Hey y'all. Apologies, I should have started this thread the 2nd day of the festival. Photographers, please post your links and pics here, I know a lot of you have already done so in the post mortem thread, but most people won't know to go there to look for them.
This year, Alcan asked me to shoot some non-race related images for them during the festival, so i have very few images other than the finals.

*Galleries to follow in a few days.

Well, if Digger did indeed suffer from the malady you suggest, it's quite possible he contracted the "dreaded lurgy" from the flippin' False Creek water!  Yikes!  Laughing

Looking at the Dragonauts do their turn around the bouy for guts & glory. Is it possible to maintain timing through a sharp turn like that?

Yes.

Never give a match up halfway through. Never say that you do not feel up to it, that your condition is bad, and throw in the towel. Fight to the very end, always looking for your chance to break through.
