Alcan's come and gone and with 185 teams, we saw a whole lot of uniforms.  It seems the old custom of trading jerseys has been long retired... but lets say hypothetically that cost was not an issue... who's jersey did you see at Alcan that you would want to trade for?

none. ours cost too much to replace, unless it was a trade for another bike jersey uniform, but there aren't any out there that I like enough to trade for.

Ditto with that Photog said, and I didn't notice that many teams that had bike jerseys, most only had t-shirts, tank tops, or windbreakers and none with a really fancy design.  And no offense to FODB, but the color scheme of the Steamrollers' jersey was... ummm... very distinctive... and makes me glad that ours is black/red/white.  Laughing   If I had to trade, then the BMW M-Power jersey would be a fair trade, although I find the design a bit too busy on the front.

I like the LA Racing Dragons jersey. Red & White. Canadian colours ... they should be Canadians!

They had a jersey???  I thought they just had those huge coats.  The design wasn't bad, nice and simple.

Actually, that color scheme isn't all bad because it reminds me of another team, the Gulf racing team (the Gulf Oil sponsored Ford GT-40s in the LeMans in the 1960s, and I think they also sponsored an Audi R8 in a recent LeMans).  All you need is to have a T-shaped orange design for the upper shoulder area and a big Gulf logo in the back.   Wink

I think www.ROLI.com had nice looking jerseys. Team M-Power has a nice one as well but the thing is, the life jacket covers it all while the blue and white sleeves don't stand out as much. I don't mind Steamrollers' jersey but I think another colour other than turquoise? blue would've been better and more suitable for use outside of dragonboating. I like the orange though.

I love Acme's, theirs has a lot of class,

vo2max jersies are hands down the most popular in the paddock, and I've spoken to lots of people on that, everyone loves it.

I liked Acme's jersey too.. that's why I ponied up one of my Dragon Warriors jersey to trade for it at SF.  Ours arn't the nice rash guards that some of the crews have but it's a quick try poly that still has style and as we improve as a team, so to does the capital of our shirts  Very Happy !
The other jersey I like is the Jetstart jersey from Toronto.

Being of Dutch decent, I have been emailing different teams in Holland to see if I could purchase one of their team shirts.  No one will respond.  Maybe if I wrote them in Dutch instead of English........

Those ORANGE ones are now up for sale.  They'll be a hot collectors item soon in a couple of years!!!   It's a great investment!

PM me if you want one.   Laughing
