Fantastic weekend, fanastic racing!  There's a reason Victoria is my favourite festival year after year.

Congrats to Sudden Impact, Storm, Alpha, and Hampton Woods - that was the best final I've been in all year!

Well...there goes my predictions for Victoria! Kai came in STRONG (with a little "Creek" odor.. Laughing) but paddled an amazing (and FAST) time in the Finals. GDs,...Well are gthe GDs and gave them a fight to the end. The Dragonauts gave them a battle in the semis but were edged out in the finals!
NOW I have a few pics I could post out of the 1300 I took at the Festival. I was kind of shocked to hear my name mentioned over the PA as the photographer (at least they didn't call me Lethal Weapon!)
They were selling a DVD with all the pics on it and soon as I finish processing them all I will send them out to the paddlers who ordered them. If you would like one you can email me and paypal me $15.50 and I will ship one off to you as soon as they are ready! Partial proceeds go to the Victoria Dragonboat festival (and a few bucks to me to buy a new lens....Lens envy.....drool...) so pm of email me and I will get one out to you.
I'll post some teaser pics up tomorrow when I am back!

All right All Right!
Here are some pics of the 1500+ (I miscounted) I took this past weekend
Had a misfunction with the lens when it started to lose focus on some shots but blamed that on too much vibration on the coach boat with my mono pod but so there should have been even more shots!
Annyways...here are a few teasers and I believe I managed to get pretty much every team out there. Hey Backward Rowing! I'll email you tomorrow and I'll get you both DVDs! There's a day or two of some DB pic viewing!
Enjoy!
