Woohoo! This was a tiny, yet awesome event! It ran smoothly, on time and we had an excellent starter! (Thanks Ian!) Even tho' it was a bit dicey at the start in the afternoon, we had a quick and fair start and got that race over and done with before we capsized! Very Happy I think out of all the regattas we go to, I like Cultus' Paddler's village the best, as it's under the shade of tonnes of trees, yet really open. So, there is relief from the sun..if we had much on Sat. ! LOL Very Happy All in all, it was really great..and the win didn't hurt either! Laughing Thanks Dragon Flyers, Ian and all other volunteers for doing such a great job!

just 1 final stat for your interest

For your info- lots of people were concerned aabout the blue boat and how it seemed to plough through the water.  The pink boat had the most wins (6) blue (4) and white (2).

I personally liked the blue boat..for sailing us in for a win...but hated the fact that it was squishy and REALLY tippy...coulda had some major problems there..lol  Laughing Luck of the draw, I suppose...
