I am looking for a team going to San Fran that needs a paddler.  9th year paddling, male,  go both ways (paddle both sides that is).  I will be there anyway with a breast cancer team I am coaching so looking to have some paddling fun while I am there.

Hey Magicpaddler....

Check out the Vancouver teams that traditionally go to San Francisco...  Roli, Concord, Suburu/Dangerous When Wet...  PM me if you want contacts.

Also... for a completely different experience... check with their wonderful organizers for the San Francisco Races, Andrew, Linda etc... and see if they have any teams from back East that are coming, and short of paddlers...

Or... find out if you can guest paddle on a local San Francisco team.  Instant tour guides!

Will you be in Vernon next week with the Calgary crew?   Last year they were wearing Magic Dragons jerseys during the races, n'est-ce pas?

Yes I will be in Vernon.
The Magic Dragons are not going this year, but I will be there with the Sistership Spirit Breast cancer team that Sharon and I are coaching.  I will also be paddling, either with Crew Yahoo or Sun Rype.

My team usually brings up a squad.  We're from Los Angeles.  Let me know if you are interested and I'll speak w/ the other coaches and the captains.

I have one potential at this point, but if I don't find out in the near future I will be contacting both LardCore and Ayla.

Thx

my team, the Los Angeles Racing Dragons (www.teamlard.net), participated in this year's alcan festival (we've been participating for quite a few years) and we won the competitive b division.  last year, we won the rec a division at alcan.  last weekend at the Long Beach tournanment our gender crews both took 2nd place behind san diego and our top mixed team won the grand championship.  we are by no means the fastest in california, but we have a good time.

No disrespect.... but didn't San Fran Dragon Warriors win Comp B at Alcan this year?
