I'm curious ... As we all have a limited budget to work with when it comes to attending Regatta's, what events would you attend to ensure a high ranking on Dragon Boat west and in the Dragon Boat Community? 

So for all you fantasy Managers out there you have $5000-$6000 dollars to work with ... you get one free airfare to attend a regatta anywhere in the world.  What races would your team attend?  Keep in mind the dates so as not to run into conflict.  Also money doesn't grow on trees so make it as affordable for your team as possible. 

The Start of my list -

1.  Hong Kong Festival on May 31 (Does anyone know the cost off hand)

The free airfare is for your entire team ... so Hong Kong is my one shot destination!  183 Boats!!!!  Shocked

Still haven't found out the cost ... damn google!!
