As the the last boat crosses the finish line and the final call in the beer tent is announced we can sit abck in out folding chair and reflect on the "best of" 2005......

Here are some of my favorite memories.....

Best beer garden - Nanimo 2005 (in fact Nanaimo, all the years it has been running!)

Best Final I never saw - Richmond ...(LOL, has it been decided yet?)

Best place to race a final - Victoria. Nothing gets the heart rate up like the crowd as you hit the final 75 meters..Awesome!

Best place to be a spectator - See above!

Best Food offerings - Kelowna

Best town to party in after and during the race - Kelowna (Flashbacks and Rosie's....Aaah)

Best first year Reggata - Harrison (despite some whiners... and a need for a beer tent)
