Dragon Boating has evolved into a popular sport with mass appeal to a broad cross-section of society. As a result of the diversity of participants, teams will require a variety of coaching approaches. This clinic is designed to provide coaches with the necessary tools to instruct paddlers effectively and safely.


Enrollment in this course includes a course manual that will provide participants with an excellent resource. Dragon Boat Coaching Level I outfits coaches with the tools necessary to prepare both recreational and competitive level paddlers for the challenges they will face.

Individual-$140

Awesome course!
Couple that with NCCP Level A and you will have a lot of useful info to coach a DB team.

I've been told this is Alan Carlson's last coaching clinic before he moves to Hawaii. Alan was the coach at FCRCC and is highly recommended by my team's coach (who is a pretty good coach himself, IMO).
