GVRD 44 Cheeks was not included in the race grid and there was a notice that the team was not registered in Penticton.  Incorrect.  The team is registered and the grid will be corrected.

Whaaa-Hoo
Wind whipped waves on the lake made paddling and steering difficult.  A number of boats veered off toward Kelowna (a week early) at least one stopped while their steers was fished out of the drink.

For the Cheeks it was a time to celebrate as they gained silver medals racing against the best competitors in the last race.
