so?  any news?  stories?  pictures??  results?

All I heard was that there was huge collision in one of the races where one Gemini t-boned another and some lady got hurt.

I heard that one of the 6-16's ran aground by the Cambie Street bridge...

Judging by the placement of The Event Divas, I'm guessing they were involved in the collision. I hope the paddlers involved are doing ok and it was nothing serious...

There were two incidents with the same race.  The race was called the first time because a boat went off course.  When they reran the race the same boat went off course and took out another boat.  Woman was shaken up based on what I saw at the docks but she walked away from it.

As for the type of boat, it was a 6/16 cause they did not use the Geminis they were used for mandatory practices.  Almost pay to enter the regatta so you can "practice" in a 6/16  Laughing
