How about other top contenders... Roli, False Creek, Pac Reach...  Anyone have any comments on what they've seen on the water thus far?  I don't believe FODB will be a threat to the competitve level in WR, though will be for the top Rec Div.

Okay, I'll bite

The most competitive teams @ WR are

False Creek Women
Roli
Alpha
FODB
False Creek Mixed
Pac Reach

I have not seen all of these teams so will have to guess (this is my order of finish):

1.  False Creek Mixed - I don't think they have practices as a team yet but if they are picking up women from FCW then will be good, plus they are use to short races)
2.  Pac Reach - Been practicing for 3 years straight so hopefully this year they get what they are looking for (a win in a real festival   )
3.  Roli - A merged team so lets see how they do.
4.  False Creek Women - You know what they say, Canadian Women kick a$$
5.  Alpha - Not sure if they are combining the 2 teams into one
6.  FODB - Since there will be less moaning   this year maybe it is their breakout year.

Anybody know of any darkhorses going to WR?

I'll give this a shot.  My placings are as follows though I'm undecided on 1 and 2 spot

1 or 2 - Pac Reach or False Creek mixed, or False Creek then Pac Reach
3        - I'm going with False Creek Women (you go girls!!!)
4        - Roli
5        - Alpha
