For those who don't wish to click and scroll, here's the Canadian breakdown from day 1:

Pickering Dragon Boat club: 16th overall, winning their tail final.
BMO from Toronto: 10th overall
Team Victoria Gorging Dragons: Bronze Medal (3rd overall)

Grand Final top 3 placings were determined by .07 seconds.  It was a very close race!

As a human interest story, it should be noted that the conditions here today were absolutely brutal.  Rainy, Windy, Cold.  A very typical west coast of Canada kinda day.  It was perfect.

Needless to say, we are very happy and proud to have won a medal representing our country at an International event.

Results are posted pretty quickly over here.  Check back for more results when you wake up Sunday morning, by then all the races will be done.

later,

chris.
