With the change from the traditional direction of racing at this years ADBF, is there any advantages or disadvantages in the direction you race?  Question

Old: East to West (Science World to Cambie Bridge)

New: West to East (Cambie Bridge to Science World)

I wonder how many people actually remember racing from Cambie into Science World...
As a paddler, I don't think there would be that much of a difference.
As a specatator, I think you're now further away from the race but you can get to see the races head-on from the ball (don't really know how exciting that could be...).  Also, you will now be able to see from both sides of the Creek.  I think in terms of viewing going Cambie to ScienceWorld is a smart idea.
