So anyone got any predictions for the upcoming season?

Last year it was the following in the Comp A Finals:
Portland Mixed
Alcan's Team Success
www.Roli.com Dragons
Alpha Dragons Red
CIBC Imperial Dragons
Team Victoria Gorging Dragons
San Diego Dragon Boat Team
Pacific Reach

I'm hoping some of the competitive "under-30" teams such as FODB, Team Storm and MPower finally join the Laoyam Eagles give the veterans a run for their money this year.  Every year is seems that the gap between the Alcan favorites like Roli, Pac Reach and last year's Alpha Dragons and the "under-30's" is narrowing.  Especially with both Team Storm and FODB making it into the Platinum Final in Kelowna last year.  You know what they say, The old get older while the younger get better  Razz
Maybe this year will be the year where dragon boat racing on the West Coast becomes more competitive like out East instead of having the same expected boats for the title like previous years. Hopefully there won't be any accusations of wake-riding...

Also it would be good to take back our Alcan Championship title from the American Portland Mixed team...
