The VIC VIXENS are a third year team paddling at the FGPC in Victoria, mainly a 50+ group of fun, fit and active women who enjoy the fabulous watersport of Dragon boating on the calm waters of the Gorge.
We would love you to join us on the water for a couple of practices to try it out, no experience necessary; only criteria is a love of being on the water, an appreciation of team sports, enjoyment of some competition and the ability to commit to twice weekly, early evening practices beginning early April to mid-August. Our plan this year is to enter three local festivals with the goal of improving our times......if that results in a medal, all the better. We are flexible in that we do realize life, family and holidays happen so we still encourage anyone to come try us out, even if you have time away already planned.
