A great way to start the new year is to spend an evening doing a warm water huli with team mates and fellow paddlers.  Sign up to come and practice the OC-6 huli recovery or an OC-1 huli recovery in coached sessions.  It is always a great idea to learn and practice this skill under supervised and safe conditions so you are ready if the real thing should occur.  This is a once in a year event, so don't miss out on this opportunity.  Come alone or with your team mates.

When:  January 9, 2015
Time:  930 PM to 1130 PM (after the pool closes to the public)
Cost: FCRCC members: $10.00 Non-members: $15.00

Vancouver Aquatic Centre
1050 Beach Avenue
Vancouver, BC

Payment to be collected at the door. Please try to bring the correct change.
State beside your name what boat you wish to practice in – so that we can have the appropriate amount of equipment available.  Please sign up on this doodle:  http://doodle.com/a2ef63puf9tbcspb

Hi Cath,
If you have any other paddling workshops, courses or programs coming up in the future,  if you send the info to Dragon Zone we'll send them out paddlers too.

Hello Everyone,

FCRCC had 93 people sign up for the January 9th session so we have had to break the session over 2 nights – January 9 and January 30 (as this will allow more practices for everyone..Smile.   If you have not received a message confirming your attendance for January 9th, it means that you have been slotted into the January 30 session (priority went to FCRCC full members).  However that being said, we have room for 6 more people for the January 9th session.  Please email [email protected] if you are interested in this session.  Otherwise - we will see the rest of you on January 30.

Dragon Boat Reps - please forward this note to your teammates who have signed up for this event as FCRCC does not have emails for your DB members.

Looking forward to an exciting year on the water in 2015!!

Many Thanks.
