Just for the memories ,
what's the latest news on the Taiwanese dragon boats in Vancouver?.

Will they ever be seen again ?

anybody have any photos or video from the Taiwanese  races in Vancouver ?

I haven't heard anything new.

Last set of pics I saw were: http://www.dragonboatwest.net/index.php?topic=5228.0.  There are a few vids in this YouTube feed:
http://www.youtube.com/user/DragonBoatWest/videos.  Haven't seen the boats recently, hopefully they're still being cared for.

I think the closest festival (to Vancouver) with Taiwanese style boats is the Portland Rose Festival Dragon Boat Race (http://www.pksca.net/home.php?layout=51667).  Done that one a few times in their old boats (replaced in 2013).  A great way to get injuries if you jump in and paddle them like a BUK!
