As the host club for the MEC Big Chop Summer Paddle Series,
http://www.bigchop.ca/, Vancouver Ocean Sports would like to invite all paddlers to the year-end wrap up race appropriately titled The Super Chop on Saturday, September 14th. This race is open to any small boat and SUP (kayak, surfski, OC1/2, dugout canoe…) pretty much anything that floats that you can paddle. For this race there will be three separate heats, 3km, 7km and 15km. Registration must be done online prior to race date, see the website for the registration process. All paddlers that have received this email will receive a $5 discount by using the promo code, “OC5” (note that registration fees go up on Sept 1st).

As always along with the race will be the post festivities which will include:
BBQ salmon feast with all the fixings
