Hi all,

We need to replace a few people that are moving/having children etc for the 2013 season.

Things are filling up quick on our womens crew Snappin' Dragons but there may still be a spot or 2 depending on if the recent recruits pan out.

On Fifth Moon (our mixed boat) we have to replace a couple guys but if you come as a couple we can squeeze a girl in too.  We have a lot of military members so I'm most comfortable with a bigger roster!

Snappin Dragons are out Tues/Thurs 530-7pm and Paddlers of the Fifth Moon are on the water Tues/Thurs 7-830pm.  Both crews start in April and officially end at the Victoria Festival although there will likely be the option to do the Portland festival.  We paddle out of the Gorge Rowing and Paddling Centre

Both crews are competitively-minded rec crews and spend most of last season either in the top division at each festival we raced in or extremely close to it.  Snappin' Dragons is entering its 3rd year while Fifth Moon is in year 13.

What we're looking for:
Fit, enthusiastic, reliable, committed people with good personalities and a dislike for drama.
Must be driven to improve your own paddling and push hard in races while being able to get over it after if another crew just outdid you in that given race.
No whining, complaining, flakiness, crabiness or any other type of poor attitude!  Smile

What you get:
A strong, supportive group of people
A solid, extremely well-organized team
Solid technical training with a focus on injury prevention from a coach with over 11yrs experience (including numerous coaching courses)
Equal training time on both sides
Access to a variety of cross training options/activities
Participation in 4-5 festivals

If you're interested in either crew or would like more info, shoot me an email at [email protected]

Hi guys, we have a couple spots still available between the 2 teams for a good fit (I like full rosters!).

Shoot me an email if you have any questions ([email protected]), most of the info is in the previous post.

Hi Victoria paddlers.

Both rosters are getting pretty full but we have a couple festivals that we're down a couple folk so I could probably squeeze someone in if they're the right fit!
