Hi everyone,
The MEC Big Chop is back! The first race of the series is Thursday, May 1st over at the Vancouver Ocean Sports compound (by Vanier Park / old Kits Coast Guard). This is open to all levels of paddlers, from novice to competitive, all are welcome.
Bring your own OC1/OC2/surfski or borrow from your club. You can also rent a MEC kayak (solo or tandem) or SUP by emailing
[email protected] for a small fee. Challenge your friends in the Small Chop (4km) or Big Chop (7km+) and then stick around for the apres BBQ (smokies or veggie burgers and great snacks) and a chance to win some of the great door prizes. All of this fun for only $10!
