Looking for something to do during the off-season?  Sick of the NHL lock out?  Miss watching some exciting hockey?  Here is your chance to get your hockey fix while staying in shape between dragon boat seasons!

I am putting together a floor hockey team with Urban Rec.  No experience required!  Primary objective is to get a good workout!  Winning
is secondary.
 
I’ve got a goalie lined up but I need at least 4 to 5 more people (of which 1 must be a girl).

I've got 2 more spots left for Tuesday night (at Nootka/Begbie/Renfrew).  I am now looking for 7 more people for Monday night (5 guys and 2 girls; at Secord/Renfrew).
 
Games are 1 hour long.  The earliest start time is 6pm, the latest end time is 10pm.  Game time and location changes weekly.  All school are in east Vancouver, close to Grandview Hwy and Rupert area.   All equipment, except for protective gear, will be provided.  It’s no contact, no slapshots.
 
For a team of 10 the cost will be about $76/person for 10 weeks (Monday league is only 9 weeks long so the cost will be about $68/person).  First game starts the week of January 7th.  Season should end in mid to late March.

Try Corey Schnieder, Roberto Luongo, and about 30 to 40 goalies that will be available the rest of this year and probably the next year as well.
