Just a little note as to the FCRCC Senior C teams attending Nationals. These are teams made up of over 60 paddlers from Senior teams from the Grandragons, Eh Team, Nothing dragons, and some from Kamloops, Penticton and Vancouver Island (all paid up members of FCRCC!!). Because the Ontario over 6o's did not show up, and the Quebec over 60's have smoked too many cigarettes, FCRCC found themselves the only Senior C team competing. If you look at the Results you will find that the FCRCC paddlers competed with the U23, Over 40's and over 50's and did very well. They held their own in all races. Congratulations to all you old geezers from all us other old geezers. Hard work really pays off. Kudos to Pat Pawlett who organized these teams, and to Kamini Jain who coached.
