Dragon Hearts Beat is looking for female paddlers for Harrison (July 23) and Steveston (August 20th).
We are also looking for a steers for San Francisco on September 17th and 18th.
We have two required practice each week: Tuesday and Thursday nights at the Creekside Community Centre. Warm ups start at 6:45PM and we unload the boat at 9:00PM. Some of us are doing optional OC1 practices at FCRCC, Granville Island.
We placed 2nd in Recreational B (34th out of 99 mixed teams) at the 2011 Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival and we would like to keep up the success for the rest of the season.
Experienced and inexperienced paddlers are welcome.
