If this didn't conflict with Nanaimo (July 9-10), I would have made every effort to bring the Navy Dragon Anchors.  Beer garden, warmer weather, different challenges, and a great price?  I wish we could go!  Hopefully this won't be an issue in 2012.

We all have to make choices during the Summer. I don't know any weekend between the end of June and the middle of September where there is no conflict between races.
I hope we can welcome teams that are looking for a new opportunity for may be their new team or a change to established dragon boaters. We tweet race reports from the beach on both of these days and had a blast exchanging greetings with the paddlers in Nanaimo last year.
Oh - did I mention that we have a junior team waiting to be challenged?
