OC Camps.ca is back for 2010 with even more camps.  We sold out all but one week last year, and we are excited to be running it again.  This year we doubled our weeks for Dragon Boat Cross over.  Last year our best week was with 12 Dragon Boat paddlers that had little OC experience.  All left commenting that it was the best camp they had been to.  Many are already signed up again 2010.

We teach you how to paddle with a ration of 6 - 1.  Video, direct feedback, and lots of technique work.  We also have a lot of fun watching people learning to surf an outrigger and swamp an OC 6 in a warm water waves.

Our winter camps are located in Kailua, Oahu.

Our coaches are John Puakea, Jim Foti, Ryan Pogue.  Last year we had Danny Ching, Nappy Nepolean, and other Team Kaimanu Riders that we hope to be using again in 2010.

We give you 5 days, 18 hours of coaching, video review, drills and technique.  We have one coach per 6 paddlers max.

Our paddlers that did the camps last year rated the camps as Excellent.

We have camps for all levels, novice, intermediate, and advanced.  If you are unsure what your skill level is, please contact us.  We can help you find the right camp and the right date.

Our first camp starts Feb 15th and we end our last one April 2nd.

Our camps include all coaching, solo and tandem canoes, as well as OC 6 canoes.

You can get more information off our website at www.occamps.ca

We also have a Facebook page with images from last year.  Search "Outrigger Canoe Camps"

Look forward to seeing you in Hawaii.

I went to your website and it appears to not have been updated since Nov. 2008.  Would love more info on your camps!
