I am new to the west coast and was wondering where I can find some information regarding doing some flatwater practices such as kayak and canoe.

Pogue/VOS doesn't have flatwater unless Ryan has a K1 tucked away behind the sea kayaks and OC1s.

FCRCC is handy if you live near False Creek.

If Burnaby is more convenient, add BCKC to your list of sites to check: www.burnabylake.com

You can also find more flatwater clubs in the lower mainland at www.canoekayakbc.ca

Thanks for all your help.  I have joined the Burnaby club.  They have a great war canoe program as well as other flatwater disciplines.  You guys should check it out.  War canoe great core strength training.
