We Are:- Ritchie Bros. Auctionauts, a mixed recreational team that practices out of the beautiful UBC Boathouse in Richmond.
- a big team (35+), but with our busy live auction schedule, 24/6 operations, international time zones, and travelling team members, we would like to have a more flexible base for practices and competitions.
- we have weekly practices Thursdays 5:30-7:00pm (can do mid-practice dock p/u and drop-off ~6:15).
- we are planning to attend Whistler, Richmond and Kelowna Festivals.
- we may host one or two corporate/charity events (optional).
- we are not all auctioneers and, no, we can't do an auction chant for you (until after the beer garden).
You Are:- new or experienced, but looking to get out on the water and have some fun.
- willing to help with a bit of simple fundraising for the rest of the costs, travel, and accomodations.
- our fancy menu of options includes (payable in lump sum or over the season in twoonies):
-- (a) practices only - just $50 to cover your practice costs through to Sept 25.
-- (b) races only - just $50 to join us in any or all of the competitions and get a team shirt.
-- (c) full-meal deal - and have $100 for any and all practices, competitions and a shirt.
-- you do not have to know how to say, "Bidda, bidda, bidda, gimme 30 ..." but we'll ask you anyway.
