This is an event designed for people interested in trying OC6 racing. It's a middle distance race (roughly 5k) and FCRCC will supply the boats. The concept is similar to the Bridges race in Victoria (minus the bridges). Experienced steerspeople are available to help teams that need someone to steer.

Date: March 14
Location: Burrard Marina

For more information, see March Madness at fcrcc.com

Adding to the posting, FCRCC has a number of prizes and there is a good chance many paddlers will walk away with something.  Apparently these are not race prizes... but draw prizes!

Here's a little video put together by MJ: http://www.fcrcc.com/images/stories/RaceResults/MarchMadness2009.mov (QuickTime format).

Can't believe Ron won the Canucks tickets his firm donated. Very classy of him to decline the prize.

Lethal was taking a break from photos this weekend.  I hear he was learning how to rotate.
