There'll be a 9-minute story on dragon boating and Eye of the Dragon on Channel M, the multi-cultural channel. It was shot during the Saturday morning of the Alcan Regatta. The show is called Rompost TV (it's Romanian news) but the dragon boat story is in English. It's going to air on Channel M Cable 8 as follows:
Tuesday June 12 at 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday June 13 at 9:00 a.m.
Saturday June 16 at 1:00 p.m.
They told me that it would be the 2nd story so it should start at 5 or 10 minutes past the hour, something like that. They showed me the final product today, there's good footage of some races and well-done interviews. There's also lots of false creek paddlers in the background (including several from this forum). Overall they did a good job.
