DBW screen name:  roadkillsooz

First Name: Suzi (or roadkill. a  name that  my momma didn't give me but I answer to)

Team Name: Wasabi Team Huge a premier womens team out of Portland Oregon

Years Paddling: 15 in Olympic Sprint Kayaks and 10 in Dragonboats and OC's

Preferred Side: Top  (yes, I am Bi-Sidal)

Favorite Festival: I would have to say The Dragonboat festival in Yi Chang China. Attendance was 250,000 people when I raced there! The entire Yangtze River was thick with spectators and the celebration was AMAZING!

Favorite Part about Being a Paddler: Paddling.

Marital Status: Single never married...see below hobbies for subtle clues as to WHY

Favorite Movie: hmmm, this is a tough one. I would have to pick three: Sean Of The Dead, The Secret and Princess Bride. All for vastly different reasons.

Favorite Website: www.mulletsgalore.com  for fun and great mullets and www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org who do an amazing job rescuing wonderful horses and mules from the slaughterhouse.

Favorite Music Artist: nearly all of them! But really dig Greg Brown, AC DC and Garth Brooks

Favorite Food: Sushi....er, and Ho Ho's but not together

Other Sports: I am a new competitor in Triathlons, am a real winner in mutton busting and am the reigning champion in my boat for cussing.

Hobbies: I love my horse and mule so that makes me a real fan of scooping approximately 40 lbs of poop a day,  I am a nature-aholic and love to immerse myself in anything that crawls, slithers, or grows from the ground. I teach wildlife and environmental education and  have a wicked wildlife skull and skin collection for teaching people about the natural world....and a very cool tank of carrion beattles to help me make roadkill into such things. (see above marital status- not a shock huh?)
