Went to the Portland DB races for the first time. Awesome venue and lots to see and do. Never seen the Taiwanese flag catching boats before (nothing like Vancouvers) and they are huge a$$ pigs!
When you have Kai taking 2:30 seconds to doa race pirce then the sucker must be heavy!
Anyways not sure who won (went down with Team X-calibre) but there were a few close races
Had the luck to capture a "missed" flag grab as well (Yup! She went it) VEry cool event and definately a spectator sport!

Enjoy

Nice Grab!
And now for a "not" so nice grab...

As a member of a High School Team, and a Portland Paddler, perhaps I can be forgiven for putting up the High School Division results as well?  Laughing

High School:
1) Sundragons Purple
2) Beaverton HS Beavers
3) GHS Pirates Blue

A complete PDF is available at http://pksca.com/Past-Results/2006-Combined-Final.pdf look if you're interisted in seeing what a Kaohsiung boat'll do to your times!  Laughing
