This year at Alcan there will be two separate races for teams composed of paddlers 50 and older.  One race will be for those 50 and over (grandmasters as defined by IDBF) and one race for those 55 and over (Senior as defined by Alcan).  We're trying to put together one team for each of these races.  Right now, we have 20 guys signed up but would prefer to have 24 guys, 12 on each team.  So, we're still looking for 4 more guys 50 and over.

If you're an experienced male DB paddler 50 or older who's going to be at Alcan anyway next month and haven't already committed to another 50+ team for these special races, pls contact me ASAP.   You are permitted to race on one of these special teams and your regular adult mixed division team also without penalty. 

These races will be held either late on Sat. or first thing on Sun.
