Hi there, I sent a separate email to the 'manager' (from your website), but I just want to know what are the specific criteria your team is looking for in the new recruit.  Is there a minimal physical fitness you're looking for?  Because I've paddled since 2000, and do have the interest to become serious with this sport.  However, I don't know if I can manage to keep up or be fit enough for your team.
