Hmmm just noticed the wood blade flaring on the r/side.......that would be none other than calgary paddler "Magic dragon" who we let be a part of this along w/ his wife .....

Thanks again for letting us jump in on that. Very cool. Just wished I could have seen it without having to stop paddling to do so.

That was a great moment...
It seemed like an anticipated long time, before the skier finally got upright and fully extended. Did I mention that a great roar of applause could be heard all along the dock and the beach?
Kalamalka Lake is so beautiful. Please don't show any more pictures, or more paddling teams will want to race there, and the medals will become stupid scarce and the beer garden will become overflowing... then the Coldstream residents will become overly protective of their lakeside paradise.
