Swordfish might be getting new jerseys and I know there's companies that make jerseys other than Sugoi but I can't remember them right now.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've had some dealings with RegattaSport. If you're looking for customer service, they definately beat Sugoi hands down in that department. They have a quicker turnaround time once you have everything approved and ready to go.  My only gripe is that they sometimes take a while to get back to you with answers to your questions. Their prices tend to be a lot lower than Sugoi and Louis Garneau. I usually deal with Gregg over there and can give you his contact information if you want.  Unfortunately he's on holidays till the 22nd.

With Sugoi, I like their quality but just don't think it's really worth the grief of dealing with their poor customer service and relatively high prices. Also, apparently they own all the designs submitted to them as they were going to charge me for my own jersey design when I asked if I could get a copy of the design when I lost the data files when my computer crapped out.

You may also check out Action Athletic Wear and Promotional Products. They supplied Alcan with Artwork for all of their festival clothing, T-shirts for all for their volunteer and organizers, and have designed, produced and operated the Official Alcan Dragon Boat Festival Logo clothing sales tent. You can PM kl023 on this board as he is the sales manager for Action.

There's also Team Clothing, another local company.  They provide unique technical uniforms for your dragon boat team and have a promotion right now where an order before March 25 will receive 10% off the full amount. You can check out their website at http://www.teamclothing.com/.

Is it too late to start looking for jerseys now? Companies have a pretty early deadline on artwork submission.

It really depends on the workload and how expediant the company is.  Also depends on if you're looking for sublimation or just silkscreening...

Thanks for all the replies! I'll be forwarding this to the rest on the jersey "committee" and we'll figure something out.

Hi everyone,

I have been keeping a close eye on this board over the last little.  I have been paddling on the Starbucks Waverunners for the past 3 seasons.  Since this thread is about Jerseys and that is my background I wanted to put in my 2 bits and promote the company that I work for.

Thanks Chaos for giving me props in his post.  I work for Action Athletic Wear and we are in the process of creating a program for dragon boat teams.

The design will be very similar the ones that I created for the Waverunners and PH&N Horny Goats team for last season.  We can take your project from concept to a finished jersey including helping you create your artwork.

If you guys are interested give me PM a message or you can reach me directly at [email protected]
I can send you some of the designs that I have been working on.
