My Kialoa Axel II paddle, 49", was mistakenly taken from the FCRCC docks around 8-8:30 pm on Wednesday Sept 26. However, that person's 51" paddle was left behind, which I currently have (another Kialoa paddle, possibly Axel II, but the shape and bend is slightly different than mine). I was with a group of 4 people who were coming back to the docks with C-lions, and there was another gentleman who was paddling in a blue and orange OC1 that was also coming back as well, so our paddles may have gotten mixed up when that gentleman picked my paddle up. If you are aware of this, please contact me so we can return our paddles back to each other. I also left a sticky note attached on the front of your OC1 that's in the shed. Thanks!

Apparently a Granville Island Security person picked up a paddle this week and turned it into Granville Island administration - probably a Lost and Found department - not sure where it is located.

Thanks Wet spot. I called the office and it wasn't it...

Anyway, it turns out that 51" paddle doesn't belong to the individual with the blue and orange OC1, so I'm assuming the mix-up occurred right before we headed out for OC1 that night. Somewhere out there....someone has my 49" Kialoa, and I have their 51"....there just has to be someone who realizes their 51" paddle is missing.
