Where: VCKC Club House on the Gorge west of Tillicum Bridge (355 Gorge Rd W.) Victoria
When: Saturday, 13th July 2013
Costs: $180 per team
What: Two different race types:
- 2500-meter race in IDBF-certified 10-paddler boats. (only one category, Mixed) This race is a combined-time for two heats over a 1,250-metre course with a buoy turn (out and back).
- Sprints: 200-meter races in IDBF-certified 10-paddler boats.
Results will be ranked by team category (Women's or Mixed) for combined-time for two heats.
This in an all-day event with entertainment, food services and a beverage area.
SPECIAL: Paddlers and Volunteers can purchase one "Burger & Beer" for $5. (This is a roll-back to 2011!)
[Non-alcoholic beverage & veggie burgers can be substituted in offer.]
Last year's event was a big success, and we aiming to better it.
