National and Internationally-focused team looking for both a male and female steerspeople. The ideal candidates would be:
1. Light but fit, and loud.
2. Some experience but dedication and potential more important than experience
3. Motivated and committed
4. Can see yourself as a team leader – although it is expected you would feel intimidated at first
5. Willing to compete for the position if the situation arises
6. Able to attend practices, if needed, the following days and times:
• Mondays: 5:45 pm-7:30 pm (women’s practice) and/or 7:00-8:45 (men’s practice)
• Thursdays: 5:45 pm-7:30 pm (mixed practice)
• Sundays: 7:30 am-10:00 am (mixed practice)
7. Able to compete in the following regattas if needed:
• May 7: Dragon Zone Spring Sprints
• May 14: FCRCC Regatta
• May 28-29: Women’s Regatta and DZ Regatta
• June 30-July 3: Canadian Nationals, Welland Ontario
8. Interest and predicted availability for Club Crew Worlds Championships, Hong Kong, Summer, 2012
