The BraveHearts Dragon Boat Team and Team River Spirit will be hosting Campbell Rivers 1st Annual Dragon Boat Regatta called, "Race the River." on July 3rd/11. Entry is limited to 15 teams on a first come basis and the entry cost per team is $150.00. Race course is in the Campbell River Estuary and will be 350 Metres. Racing Divisions will be Women's and Mixed/Open. Awards for Gold, Silver, and Bronze in each division, plus a "Spirit" award to the team that shows the most sportsmanlike qualities and tons of enthusiasm! A flower tribute for all survivors of Cancer and those we have lost to this disease is also planned. Live music, salmon barbeque and a ton of fun activities are planned!
