Registration is now open for the 2011 Canada Dry Victoria Dragon Boat Festival!

Team registration fees remain the same as 2010 and the Festival will once again be able to host a maximum of 90 teams in our spectacular and unique Victoria Inner Harbour setting.  The 17th annual Festival takes place August 12-14, 2011.

The direct link to the registration system is: http://register.victoriadragonboat.com/

We are excited to announce that G2G Race Management will be overseeing the racing component of the Festival this year and that Greg Lamb will be our Race Director.  Greg, and his Race Officiating team bring years of dragon boat racing experience to the event and we look forward to working with him as we strive to provide the best racing experience possible to our paddlers.

In addition to the actual racing, the Canada Dry Victoria Dragon Boat Festival provides a wide range of activities throughout the Festival, including:

•   Fabulous multi-cultural entertainment on two stages
•   Fine selection of cuisine in our Forbidden City food court
•   Friday night kick-off party and BBQ
•   Saturday night dance party and paddler’s air band contest
•   Interactive activities in the Tim Hortons Kids Tent
•   Beer garden, featuring tasty brews from Vancouver Island Brewery
•   Paddler’s massage and sports enhancement tent

Other plans for 2011 include  a pancake breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning, special training sessions with the Gorging Dragons, and more, so be sure to check our website http://www.victoriadragonboat.com/ for updates throughout the spring and summer.

You can also keep informed by following us on Twitter https://twitter.com/VictoriaDragon or becoming a fan of our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Victoria-Dragon-Boat-Festival/150525518319849.

Good luck to everyone with their training and we look forward to seeing all of you in August!
