We have had one spot open up for Portland on Sep 12-13. We're aiming to take 26 down as some of our girls are also racing womens and we want to be covered for any scheduling issues!
We're going as GRPC United and we're mostly a mixed boat made up of paddlers from the GRPC in Victoria - Fifth Moon, DogPaddlers, Brew Crew, PI, Selkirk among others plus a couple paddlers joining us from the mainland.
Rooms are all set, rides can easily be organized either from Victoria or the mainland.
Cost is $33 for the festival plus your share of travel and accommodation. Rooms are around $125 a night split between how ever many we can cram in! (~$30-60).

[email protected]. If you haven't done Portland before, it's a lot of fun. The course is right downtown, the hotel is really near, the water can get a little crazy and the whole atmosphere is very friendly. Plus there is tax free shopping!
