I was wondering which teams are going out to Montreal for the Canadian Championships in August?

Sudden Impact Black is really trying to go but are short 3 male paddlers to make it possible.  So close but yet so far!  People are understandably reluctant to leave their current teams in the lurch to be on our roster for the two qualifying events, a mandatory requirement to be eligible to compete at the national level.  Our qualifiers would be Whistler and Harrison.

That said, we are still hopeful despite the short time line.  If you are a strong, competitive male paddler who can roster wiith us at these two events and would welcome the opportunity to have national level experience you can p.m. me for more details.  By the way, we paddle out of Cultus Lake on Tues/Thurs. at 6:30 and Sat morning at 9:30.  Obviously some practice with the team would be necessary but as most interested people are already paddling with their own teams, the practice schedule for our guest paddlers could be a bit more flexible.

Because of the paperwork end of things, I'd need to hear from you by the 18th or 19th of June.  Tick, tock.....  Smile

That sucks. I imagine its quite difficult to complete the roster. One seat is not too bad, but 3 seats is a killer.

Good luck though!

Getting closer!  We need 1 more strong male paddler.  We also could use a caller as it looks at tho' we'll be losing our caller mid-season.  PM me if you you are free to join us for our qualifiers at Whistler and Harrison.  Going to Montreal would be such a blast! Laughing
