These clinics hosted by Kamini and the FCRCC Mixed team are really worth it!  I took the clinic last year and got awesome feedback.  It's a very well-rounded curriculum, with both theoretical and practical components.  I particularly liked the on-water part of the clinic, because you not only got feedback from Kamini outside of the boat, but also got personal coaching inside the boat from FCRCC Mixed paddlers!  And, I have to admit, the video session was quite the eye opener  Very Happy  But in addition to the paddling aspects, they also provide you with information that you can apply to any sport as an athlete (it looks like this year, it's mental training).

Definitely valuable for paddlers looking to improve and develop a better understanding of paddling technique!

Reminder: The registration deadline of the dragon boat clinic is March 24th, 2009

Learn from some of the country's leading paddlers in this clinic coached by Kamini Jain, two-time Olympian and coach of the FCRCC dragon boat teams, with coaching assistance from FCRCC team members.  Improve your dragon boat skills through outside coaching and by paddling with some of FCRCC’s best dragon boat paddlers.  In this unique clinic format, two or more paddler-coaches will be in each dragon boat providing an example and hands-on coaching to participants.

This dragon boat clinic is suitable for paddlers and coaches.  The clinic will help paddlers to advance their paddling technique to the next level while coaches will learn the FCRCC paddling technique and mental training to motivate their dragon boat teams.

This is the last dragon boat clinic before 2009 race period!!!  Only 2 spots left!!!!

If there are no spaces left when you try to register and if you are still interested, we have a waiting list.  If there is enough interest, we will increase the class capacity.
