Hello Dragonboaters!
Just wanted to say hello and that The Dragonboat Channel now has a link where you can upload your own videos to share with the DB world!
check out
www.thedragonboatchannel.com
for updates, links, etc
The 2007 season has just begun so only one race has been covered so far (Tempe, AZ) and another in Florida just finished filming so that should be up any day now. I did Tempe but not FL since I'll mostly be around the west coast.....and likely the northeast since that's home territory
Yeah, it's nothing new to those who have already seen me spazzing at races, but I'll be around doing more of it, so I hope to see you all soon
Spread the word, tell your teammates and friends, and feel free to contact the channel as well with your input!!!!!! It's still new and racers have a huge influence on how it develops. The more input the better, in my op. I'm sure you're aware this sport is growing fast and although it totally deserves it's day in the limelight, it will have inevitable growing pains so let's do our best to keep it real and keep the sport represented the way we want it to be! Comments suggestions, and of course videos - send them!
Paddle on..........

ooo... post the KY Kerry clip!
this dboat channel site is great. i remember back a few months ago it was all speculations... now it's the real deal.
i just saw some of the video coverage... pretty cool especially when it's presented in such an exciting format. the interview with "puppy" was interesting too... respresent 604 puppy! (cough syrup & vitamin C?!)
another video was the HKIPC Outrigger at Four Peak Regatta. that looks like an interesting race to participate in. gotta visit that club when i go to HK

Actually, this website can replace the YouTube website, for DB video coverage....I would love to see the race video's being placed here, so teams can review their races.....
PS KY Jelly will be seeking revenge this year....watch your back!

It would definitely be awesome if this turned into the one stop shopping youtube site for dragonboat! The site actually just revamped it's video uploading so larger clips can be loaded up. So swamp the site!! And yes, next time puppy gets KY'd someone better be filming.

Never give a match up halfway through. Never say that you do not feel up to it, that your condition is bad, and throw in the towel. Fight to the very end, always looking for your chance to break through.

oh what have we come to, random acts of lubing and ambush KY attacks. *EVIL*
sadly there was no filming of the now infamous KY attack during the san fran medal ceremonies, but here's a couple of visuals:
It all started innocently enough as a drinking game between Absolute Dragons (SF) and VO2 Max (van)
Next round was absolute vs v02 in a friendly game of twister, except the loser of the drinking game had to "lube up":
the game didn't last long cuz everyone was too slippery, it soon dissintegrated into the aforementioned slip and slide with our friend from LARD who's name apparently i was too drunk to remember joining in. However someone decided that when we were going up to get our medals we would bring lots of lube up with us and while two people held him down, the rest would, well you know...
I gotta say, no one is as good a sport about this kinda stuff as Kerry is!

Does this mean that you'll be in San Fran again for a repeat performance?
