The PDF doc at the following location has an excellent "checklist" for outrigger and dragon boat paddlers. You might want to modify a few bits to suit your team's style.

Hmm, isn't that just a copy of the Hong Kong Island Paddling Club manual?

I heard that Water's Edge also sells manuals as well as having seminar courses.  I've only been to one of their seminars (for outrigger canoeing), and it was a blast.

Nice video, especially the bit showing the catch (arms drop down) and then the pull (counter-rotation). Some power there.  Smile These girls look pretty good and have great blend but, just to be an armchair coach, let me try to spot a few bad habits: Seat two (right) is doing a funky elbow bend with her top arm but seems to get away with it. Seat three (right) has a bit of a collapsed side, which is compromising her rotation. She seems to be producing less power.  Seat three (left) is hinging too much at the waist, going almost 45%. Seat one (right) looks quite good to me. Anyone have any different ideas?
