Team Huge is Wasabi's premier women's team.
Team Huge is made up of a fun, committed, powerful, incredible crew of women competing at a national and international level. The team is looking to add a few great women this year. This last year the team took silver at the US Nationals and have competed consistently at both a national and international level.
The team is looking for athletic, committed, team-oriented women. No paddling experience necessary, though it is always nice. A great team attitude is a must. Come out and paddle with us and see if you like the fit! Try before you buy, no worries. Practices are currently held M, W at 6PM, Sundays at 10AM. The schedule will shift in March.
Team Huge is part of an incredible club with paddling opportunities for recreational and competitive paddlers of all age groups, including Mixed and Women's groups. There is a home for everyone at Wasabi. (
www.wasabiusa.org). The club owns 4 dragon boats, 2 OC6s, and a number of OC1s and 2s available for our paddlers. Dues are very reasonably, the camaraderie and community is fantastic.
