Some very last minute cancellations have left 1 very nice dragonboat team short 3 paddlers....
SFU Dragonbytes are looking for 3-4 paddlers male or female to help fill out our roster. If you find yourself still wanting to race, even at this very late moment, give us a shout and we'll be more than glad to have you. Experience is nice, but interest and keeness are more important at this point!
Fees are already covered, all we need are bums on seats, a sense of humour, and for you to fill out the meet waiver and sign the roster.
If you need to make arrangements for accomodations, there was still room at the Comfort Inn Westside (250-769-2355), where the team is staying, or we might be able to bunk you up with other team-members.
A bit about the team. The SFU Dragonbytes are a recreational drinking team, that paddle dragonboats as well. Typically a Rec C team at Alcan, we've been as high as Rec B and as good as Rec D other years. If you're looking to have a great time, while competing to your best, then we're your group.
