The following is an update on the status of the Grand Dragon class (age 50+), also known as the Grand Master class, for the CCWC.  The Grand Dragon class will only become an official IDBF racing class in 2007. This means that the Grand Dragon class remains a non-championship class for the 2006 CCWC. As such, the class will not be limited to 5 entries per nation. In order to participate in the event, Grand Dragon crews will still have to be members of Dragon Boat Canada.
