The non-motorized boating center is actually part of the development not for FCRCC. It will be in the community center being established down there, so it does appear there will be a DZ (or something). FCRCC is on federal land run by CMHC.
Just for your interest the proposed community center is going to be the red siding building that you can see from 1st ave, close to where the interurban tram is. I saw the proposal up close, it will be much better than those awful looking towers that Concord was allowed to build, they sure wreck the accessability to the waterfront for the masses, now if I only had a million bucks

I'll apologize now if I offended anyone on the forum that live in one of Concord complexes. So sad what has happened to the area, for lost oppotunities to have parks etc.
